Area Attractions

Let us know your interests and we can help with our vast area knowledge

If you’re unfamiliar with the area or just looking for things to do and nearby attractions during your visit and/or local events that are happening in the area please click on the helpful links below or if you would rather, feel free to give us a call. We are very centrally located and therefore a short reach to so many different venues and interests whether they be either UNH – Wildcat Country, Whittemore Center Arena, theater, wine and distillery tastings, history, leaf and foliage peeping, snowshoeing, in addition to area beaches or the many other outdoor activities this region offers.

There are quite a few excellent local restaurants in Dover and neighboring towns like Portsmouth, Durham, York, Kittery, Ogunquit and Rye – let us know exactly what you’re tastes and budget are and we can point you in the right direction! In the pages and links therein we have tried to cover many different attractions to encompass year round and seasonal activities around the NH Seacoast and beyond while also highlighting upcoming local events. Consequently, the nearby events are constantly changing. Furthermore, The Edge is also a great resource for area happenings!

It’s always “that time of year” here for beautiful picturesque NH whether it be foliage peeping and fruit picking, hiking, skiing, beaching, local theatres or exploring the local history museums – we are an hour away from the White Mountains, Lake Winnipesaukee or Boston – another reason to stay with us is we’re an easy day trip while still being close to Portsmouth for some great dining, shopping and nightlife! The Seacoast region has so much to offer, one of our favorites is the NH Seacoast Bike Tour (click here for map and directions).
